New equipment - Panasonic Lumix DMC Fs7

WooKay! I think I've finally loaded Anime3r with too much scripts. It took me forever to finish loading the front page. Care to comment on how long it took you to load Anime3r? Irritatingly long or "Myeh!-I-can-wait" long? Any feedback welcomed!

For anyone who read my previous post here, you'd know I've ordered 2 Candy Boy figures. So being all excited and all fidgety, I started doing research on a good budget camera for Macro shots. And since I wasn't much of a camera guy, I just went with what people around were recommending. And everyone was recommending Panasonic Lumix's. So off I went to see what my budget could do for me. Decided on a DMC- Fs6 (NO! DMC does not stand for Detroit Metal City) initially. It was going around for $Rm599 (Negotiable). Then went to Lowyat Plaza (a famous IT center in the city) and to my joy, came back with a silver colored Lumix Fs7 for $Rm590. Woot! Woot! Took some pics below to check out what the camera can do. Not very much apparently. -_-' Lol! But still a good bang for buck. It's not like I could afford anything better at the rate I am buying anime DVD's.

I resized them down so that it wouldn't hog up too much space in my album. I just wanted to test out its lightning.


And being all excited on taking pictures of figures. I thought I'd buy something while waiting for the Candy Boy figures to arrive.

I could really take fond of this, but the shoulder joints really makes me reconsider. But it's still the cheaper among my other choices.

Got my eye on these too. But definitely cannot afford to collect them all. Maybe just one (I hope!).

By the way, notice how the pictures says xl-shop.com? That's the local figure shop. I haven't got my Candy Boy figures yet, so can't comment on their services. But the price seems decent enough. Will update with reviews on the shop once I finish a transaction! :)
