Kemeko-DX

Initially, I didn't have much hopes after randomly skipping through a few episodes of Kemeko-DX. What I perceived was Kemeko-DX being another anime trying to abuse it's ecchi theme for ratings. But after watching a few episodes of this, found out I was wrong, which I'm happy to say. Now, I recommend comedy anime fans to give Kemeko-DX a try. Bewared though, this anime is kinda ecchi. Not as ecchi as Strike Witches though. Lol! Which is a good anime by the way! :p
*edited:Kemeko-DX actually gets more and more ecchi with each passing episode. Lol!*

The story starts as an Android, powered by a mysterious female, comes barging into Sanpeita's room. It is later revealed that the Android is called Kemeko and is powered by a character called M.M. Somehow, M.M. has presumed Sanpeita to be her husband.
As the story moves on, viewers discover that there is actually a great power hidden within Sanpeita. Because of that, Sanpeita is targeted by the organization called Mishima. Kemeko and M.M. actually came to Sanpeita to protect him from Mishima.
Viewers will also get to see how the love triangle between Sanpeita, M.M., and Izumi (who has a crush on Sanpeita) develops as the anime grows.

Surprisingly, the amount of comedy or funny scenes and action scenes are very well balanced. Kemeko-DX knows when to throw in an action scene every now and then to keep every episode fun. And will similarly throw in a funny scene or two between every plot to keep things fresh. I didn’t find myself going through a few episodes only to get bored later due to it being static all the way.

Don’t expect too much from the visual or sound though. Drawing, vocals, sound effects, are all pretty averaged out. Use of 3DCG (was it? From episode 1?) is a good effort put in to help bring the graphics rating up. Color wise is not bad too. Lively color used keeps the mood light. It does help liven the comedy you know.

At the end of the day, considering everything, I would give Kemeko-DX a good solid 3-Star. Though rated "only" a 3-Star, Kemeko-DX has been able to make each episode funnier than the next, promising viewers a great time, so don't my my ratings throw you off. Especially if you prefer content over visuals.

*Just edited this note, apparently birthday suits goes get categorized into ecchi too. Apparently, ecchi is something short of sexual intercourse; Where as hentai is the whole nine yards.
