WOW! That's the impression I get after watching the first few episodes. Definitely among the list of recommended must watch anime in my list. No complaints for the quality, drawing, coloring; Even the voice and sound effects are good! How often do you see an anime where a character's lips actually sync when there's singing. Really!?
Casshern Sins provides viewers with drawings featuring a combination thick and crisp outlines and well manipulated dark colors. There isn't much to say about the vocals. All voices are matched pretty well. The sound effects possibly can't get any better.
Story wise, it's pretty good. Along each episode, you can feel Casshern getting nearer to his objective. Not literally or physically, but emotionally. With every episode, Casshern seems more aware of what his objectives are and what purpose he plays in all the chaos surrounding him.
A warning though, Casshern Sins will move you, bring you up and down on the emotional level. If you don't want to risk the chance of feeling moody for the rest of the day, you should probably not watch this.
The first opening and closing soundtrack definitely succeeded in bringing the viewer a feeling of what Casshern faces in the anime. Definitely a good match.
Warning! Minimal spoilers follows below.
The story takes place in a world of robots; where a human is a rare sight. Robots are facing a plague called the Ruin and are dying rapidly. The Ruin apparently started due to the action of the main character called Casshern.
In the anime, Casshern has lost his memory and is trying to find the reason of why everything is happening as it is. How did he lost his memory? How did he started the ruin? Why did he start it? Watch the anime!
