Hitting the Movies

Continuing off from here. We went to the movies as promised.

Being Kagami's first time outside the box and outside the house for that matter. There was little to be surprised at her being amazed by the outside world.


Phew! Finally reached 1-Utama. Hmm! Dinner time! Got a little carried away in our choice of food. :p

Goodnight Kiss

Some friends asked me to join them for Transformers tomorrow night. And I said yes. So that's that. Then being inspired by kodomut, I wondered if I could do any good outdoor shots. Well, actually it's not that I couldn't, it's just whether if I could bring myself to do it. Seeing how I might possibly be stared at and probably even "Hissed". But hey, only one way to find out! So opened my display section (a better word for my closet :p) and looked through whichever wai-fus I have. Lol! It's kinda an easy picking when I only got 5. Kagami Miku it is.

Being the perfect gentleman, obviously I'd ask her if she wanted to go for a movie with me.

Kagami: Urgh... Me?
Me: Yup. I thought we could have a date tomorrow.

Then after thinking a while, she finally said yes.

Kagami: Okie. *blushes*
Me: Cool. Better get an early rest for tonight.

Just as I was about to tuck her to bed. She jumped out and...

Kagami: Muaks. A Goodnight Kiss for you.

Unfortunately, the other 3 wai-fus I had saw that, needless to say they weren't too happy.

Queen's Blade - Ep 6-12 (End)

And now it’s time to continue where we left off. Remember my previous review about how Queen’s Blade had potential? Forget about that. I still believed that it still had the chance to prove its worth. Up till the point just before episode 9’s Miss “Humongous” Cattleya showed up. By then I knew all hope was pointless. Logic has failed, Gravity has lost.
By episode 11, the anime tries to inject some emotions to the storyline, as Reina and Claudette stirs up some past. But why try now, so late in the point of the anime? I don’t know. But it was way too late. I had already been retard-ified.


Out of everyone, it is obvious that Tomoe-san should be queen. No one else was smart enough to sit at the side while so everyone else was battling each other. And Tomoe was the only female who actually showed decency being ashamed when clothing was lost. Others were practically running around naked.

However, my favorite character is not Tomoe though. In fact, the character I liked had the least screen time and is also the most interesting character to me and that is Nowa. She actually brought more depth to the anime than the lead character Reina.


As for some plus points, there were some funny moments which I actually enjoyed in the anime. First was when Nanael angel-san got the wrong goat milk. I laughed a little there. Second was when at the end of the show, they announced Season 2. I laughed a WHOLE lot there. In fact, I’m laughing again now as I think about it while typing this review.

Another plus point, animation was actually very consistent. The artwork for the characters and the coloring was solid. Although average, it wasn’t bad at all. But the battle sequence, urgh! That’s another story. The animations of the battle sequences were already bad enough. They HAD to use repeating scenes! So what do you get? Bad scenes repeating over and over again. Thankfully, most battle end within minutes.

Really can’t help but drop it down to 1-star for a sorry excuse of an ecchi.
Moral of the story: Season 2. HhaHAhaAHhaHA! I’m still gonna try it though. Lol!

Magister Negi Magi! full 2-A character study

When I was watching Magister Magi Negi! some time back, I really had difficulty keeping track of who was who. It was easy to remember for the main character students. But for the other characters who didn't play much of a role in the anime. I really couldn't differentiate between them. So I did a search, but found out there really wasn't much info about this anime. So I decided to do an article on class 2-A and it's students. Well here it is, Lol!

	Negi Springfield Negi is the homeroom teacher of 2-A. He also teaches class 2-A English. Negi comes from the mountains of Wales. He stays with Asuna and Konoka in the dormitory. Apparently always shares bed with his sister and hates to take baths. Negi is actually only 9 years plus old. He enjoys drinking herbal tea. Tend to lose control of magic when he sneezes. He seems to know mostly wind attribute magic. In order to complete his final task to become a qualified magician, he has to teach at Mahora Girl School. While doing so, he must not let others find out that he is a magician or will have his qualification canceled. Among Negi’s magic abilities include mind reading.
	________________________ No 1. Aisaka Sayo Aisaka has been in Mahora campus for 60 years. She was the principal’s love when he was still studying in Mahora. She likes listening to classical music. She had a younger sister. Aisaka died due to reasons explain in the anime (spoiler avoided).
	________________________ No 2. Yuuna Akashi Akashi is on the basketball team. Her birth sign is Cancer and she has the O type blood.
	________________________ No 3. Kazumi Asakura She is the reporter for the school papers and also a member of the photography club.
	________________________ No 4. Ayase Yue Yue likes weird drinks. She is roommates with Nodoka and Haruna. Their room is next to Asuna’s in the dorm. Yue is a mania of shrines, temples and Buddhism.
	________________________ No 5. Ako Izumi Izumi is the manager of the soccer team.
	________________________ No 6. Akira Ookouchi She is a member of the swimming club.
	________________________ No 7. Misa Kakizaki The purple haired member of the Cheerleader Club.
	________________________ No 8. Asuna Kagurasaka Her birthday is on the Birthday is on the 23 October 1990. Asuna loves Takahata sensei. She is best friends with Konoka. Wears teddy bear patterned panties. Looks like Negi’s sister when unties her hair. Power type character, bad in grades but do well in sports. Asuna is a member of the art club too. She can’t cook at all. She wakes up early to deliver newspapers as a way to earn money for her school fees. Principal took her in when she was young as she lost her parents. She is involved with a Devil and other plots as you will find out when watching the anime.
	________________________ No 9. Misora Kasuga Belongs to the Choir club and presumed to be very religious.
	________________________ No 10. Chachamaru Karakuri Chachamaru stays outside the dormitory with Evangeline. She is the Minister Magi of Evangeline. Has thrusters at the back and feet which allows her to fly. Well known around town for her good deeds. Looks after stray cats at what seems like an abandoned building. It is assumed that she can actually grow seeing how she used to be small 15 years ago before Evangeline was sealed by Thousand Magister. Can go into a berserker mode in which she destroys everything within a 100km radius.
	________________________ No 11. Madoka Kugimiya The short and gray colored hair member of the Cheerleader Club.
	________________________ No 12. Ku Fei Well equipped with Chinese Martial Arts.
	________________________ No 13. Konoka Konoe Presumably enjoys rollerblading. Konoka is actually the school principals’ granddaughter. Konoka entered Mahora in the fifth grade. Before that she was home-schooled. She came from Kyodo. Has strong spiritual power lying dormant but does not know magic. Her spiritual power is as strong as Thousand Magister, hence she is targeted by organizations who wants to use her powers for their own greed. Her father is the head of the Kansai Sorcery Society.
	________________________ No 14. Haruna Saotome She reads yaoi comics. Has a sensitive sixth sense like nose capable of smelling things like love.
	________________________ No 15. Setsuna Sakurazaki She started out giving Konoka cold shoulders. Setsuna is a swordswoman. Also came from Kyodo with Konoka. She played together as childhood friends with Konoka while still in Kyodo. She practices the Jinmei style of the sword.
	________________________ No 16. Makie Sasaki Can use her ribbon baton to rope and capture targets.
	________________________ No 17. Sakurako Shiina The red haired member of the Cheerleader club.
	________________________ No 18. Tatsumiya Mana Her house is also a shrine. Tatsumiya receives side jobs of supernatural nature from Setsuna, representing the principle. She is a proficient gun wielder and competes in the Biathlon. Not sure if she knows magic but capable of firing magical bullets.
	________________________ No 19. Chao Rinshen Has always known about the magic elements of Negi.
	________________________ No 20. Kaede Nagase Goes out to train in the mountains during the weekends. Being well-skilled in the ninja arts, she is also able to do the Multiple-Clone technique.
	________________________ No 21. Chizuru Naba Good friend of Ayaka. Always by her side and consoles Ayaka during hard times.
	________________________ No 22. Huka Narutaki One of the twin sisters with 2 ponytails. Always exchanges seats with Humika, her other twin sister, to play a trick on Negi.
	________________________ No 23. Humika Narutaki One of the twin sisters with hair buns.
	________________________ No 24. Satomi Hakase She is a member of the Robotic Research Club and has always known about the magic elements of Negi.
	________________________ No 25. Chisame Hasegawa Chisame doesn’t interact well with the rest of the class. Often leaves class whenever she is upset. Has a dual monitor PC setup (roXXoRs!). She is also a cosplaying Internet Idol going by the name of Chiu, even changing her voice tone when she is Chiu. Chisame aspires to become the no1 ranked net idol. Also a famous hacker and can script viruses.
	________________________ No 26. Evangeline A.K. McDowell Evangeline stays outside the dormitory with Chachamaru. She is able to detect when someone intrudes into Mahora campus through the restriction barrier which stops her from leaving the campus. Evangeline is actually a vampire. She uses potions instead of spells in Mahora campus as her spell power has also been sealed by the restriction barrier. Evangeline lost to Negi’s dad, known as the Thousand Magister, in a battle and was then sealed in the area of Mahora campus by a restriction spell also cast by the Thousand Magister. Due to her spell power being sealed, she transformed back into a young girl instead of the adult form she hides behind. She has been attending classes for 15 years. She also helps the principal perform tasks concerning the supernatural. She does hate garlic and leeks after all. Evangeline is actually over 115 years old and seems to master the power of glaciers or ice. The reason why Evangeline is so fixated on Thousand Magister is because he saved her life in the past, leading to her falling in love with him. Is able to bend the rule of leaving the campus through the barrier on the condition that the Principal has to write and chop-seal some form of document every 5 seconds.
	________________________ No 27. Nodoka Miyasaki She has a fear of males. Nodoka appears clumsy and shy especially towards males, since she has some sort of phobia towards them.
	________________________ No 28. Natsumi Murakami Belongs to theater club.
	________________________ No 29. Ayaka Yukihiro Appears as sworn nemesis of Asuna but in fact they really understand and cherish each other the most. She comes from a wealthy family and actually has a huge mansion with dozens of maids. Ayaka enjoys horseback riding. Ayaka should have had a baby brother but her mom lost him while giving birth.

	________________________ Camo He is a ferret fairy. Can perform the spell Pactio, which is a spell to form a contract between a magister and a minister.
	________________________ Thousand Magister Negi’s dad. His real name is Nagi Springfield, with Thousand Magister being a nickname. Thousand Magister did not graduate from Magic school. He naturally had strong magic powers.
	________________________ Principal. The grandfather of Konoka Konoe.
_______ Pactio Spell Magister Magi contracts a partner by kissing him or her under the Pactio spell. The partner then becomes a Minister Magi and receives powers from the Magister whether it be physical strength or magical abilities. In turn, the Minister has to protect the Magister while the Magister casts spells. Note: I did not list down some info from the bath scene in episode 4, mainly because everyone was comparing breast size in that episode and I don’t want the intention of this article to go “sideways”. I also avoided a lot of info which felt like spoilers and could ruin the mood if revealed. The main thing to remember however is that this article is based on Season 1 alone. Magister Magi Negi! At time of writing I have not watched any other Negima and even after watching I will (probably) not modify this article. Lol! It wasn’t hard to do this article, but it wasn’t easy also. It did take quite some time.
